This October, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is set to enchant visitors with a brand-new Halloween event that promises to be a feast for the eyes and a delight for all ages. “Jack O’ Lantern Glow” will transform the zoo into a mesmerizing wonderland of illuminated pumpkins, creating the largest such display in Greater Cincinnati.
Imagine strolling through a half-mile trail adorned with over 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins, each one a unique work of art crafted by local artists. Many of these jack-o’-lanterns will feature charming depictions of the zoo’s beloved animal residents, adding a special touch that connects the event to its host venue.
This family-friendly experience offers an immersive journey through a glowing autumnal landscape. With an average walkthrough time of 35 to 45 minutes, visitors can take their time to admire the intricate designs and bask in the warm, flickering light of thousands of pumpkins.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all, “Jack O’ Lantern Glow” will operate on select days in October with a timed ticketing system. Guests are advised to purchase their tickets online in advance to secure their preferred date and time slot.
